Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily pharmacy operations within a 300-bed regional medical center located in Oxnard, CA. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, the Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality pharmaceutical services in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy as their primary support
- Oversee employee scheduling and coordinate staffing needs
- Address operational issues promptly to maintain seamless pharmacy function
- Utilize Cerner pharmacy IT systems for operational management and reporting
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience in pharmacy management within an inpatient setting
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software preferred
- Ability to handle dynamic operational challenges and staff coordination
- Excellent communication skills for working alongside management and pharmacy staff
