Surgical Technologist
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to assist surgical teams in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role is critical for ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Support surgeons and other healthcare professionals during operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sterilization protocols.
- Facilitate communication between surgical team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical specialty.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Surgical Technologist Certification from NBSTA or NCCT is preferred.
Work Schedule
Schedule may vary with typical hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including on-call requirements.
Holiday Expectations
Candidates must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
