Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations as they recover from injuries or disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic techniques such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to promote pain relief and enhance mobility.
• Document and track patient progress diligently, ensuring that all treatment protocols are adhered to and adjustments are made in response to progress.
• Conduct regular re-evaluations and modify treatment strategies based on patient feedback and progress toward healthcare goals.
• Provide training and education to patients, their families, and caregivers on exercises, use of assistive devices, and proper physical therapy techniques.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities by attending workshops, reviewing updated protocols, and participating in professional societies to stay current on best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, along with a current State License in Physical Therapy.

• Computer literacy, including word processing and proficiency in electronic documentation systems.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is preferred but not mandatory; the candidate must possess a State license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required.
• A current CPR certification is necessary for ensuring patient safety.
