Busy and well established cardiology practice, Capital Hill SE DC & Ft Wash Md. We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, well mannered, experienced and compassionate Front desk coordinator and a similar back office medical assistant to join our two man cardiology practice.

Will be a plus if front office person is familiar with back office duties and vice versa

The cardiology practice has two locations. One Located on Capitol Hill Southeast Washington DC and the other in Fort Washington Maryland. Medical assistants are

required to work at each office on different days. Personal transportation is necessary.

Front office duties include scheduling appointments, Checking patients in and out during their visits

Verifying patients' insurances, Verifying and documenting referrals when referrals are needed.

Entering and verifying referring physicians' names, telephone numbers, Fax numbers and NPI numbers

Entering Names and telephone numbers for patients' pharmacies Collecting Co Pays etc. Passing messages

on to physicians and/or office manager in a timely manner.

Back office duties include recording patients' medications, taking weights and vital signs

Brief intake history such as allergies, family history, social history and chief complaint.

Perform electrocardiograms, Hook up patients for exercise stress tests, Hook up patients

for holter monitor recordings (WITH PROPER BACKGROUND WE CAN TEACH THE ABOVE)

Venopuncture ( If trained)

Applicants must have at least a high school education, We prefer an individual with medical assistance certification,

Should have medical doctor's office experience

Salary will be based on skill and experience.
