Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling designed to meet departmental needs. No block scheduling commitments. Must be flexible to work in all areas of the Emergency Department.

Highlights:

• 101-bed Emergency Department serving a high-volume facility with over 100,000 annual visits
• Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with advanced critical care capabilities
• Typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral health observation
• Supportive unit staffing including techs, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring specialists on all shifts
• Cerner EMR and modern equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Award-winning facility recognized nationally for clinical excellence, safety, and nursing quality

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center experience strongly preferred
• Current certifications required prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Ability to float to all sections within the Emergency Department
• Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
