Guide Sacred Transitions: Offer specialized end-of-life care, grief counseling, and crisis intervention, helping families navigate profound moments with dignity, prayer, and Catholic theological support. Advocate for Patient Values: Act as a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team to integrate a patient’s faith, cultural values, and spiritual preferences into their clinical care plan and medical ethics consultations. Nurture Community Well-being: Foster a healing environment by leading liturgical celebrations, prayer services, and staff resiliency initiatives, sustaining the hospital's Catholic identity and mission of holistic ministry. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Board Certification from the APC, NACC, CASC, or NAJC at time of hire or transfer is required. Education: Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Studies or related field is required. 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE is required. Work Experience: 1 year of experience required.
