Immigration Associate Attorney

Are you an experienced U.S.-based business immigration attorney wanting to work remotely for a San Francisco Bay Area boutique firm that is a great place to work and believes in work/life balance? If so, McCown & Evans LLP, a 20 employee, six attorney business immigration law firm seeks an attorney with 4+ years of business immigration experience with a reputable firm (ideally both NIV and IV) who enjoys a collaborative, calm, fun and fully remote work environment with smart and interesting co-workers. Benefits are comparable to large, global law firms. The firm works with a variety of high profile and startup companies, with a focus on tech, AI, life sciences, and eSports. Salary range: $145,000-$170,000 per year DOE.

• To be successful in this role you must be a highly accountable, organized individual who considers client service a priority. 
• You must have a valid law license from a U.S. state, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• You must possess excellent legal writing skills and be adept at drafting complex RFE replies.
• You must have the ability to manage and independently move forward a full NIV and IV caseload, including PERM.
• You should be experienced in and comfortable with working remotely and supervising paralegals and other staff independently from your home office.
• You should be prepared to provide a relevant writing sample.
• O-1, NIW, and EB-1 Extraordinary Ability/Outstanding Researcher case experience is a plus.

4+ years of business immigration law firm experience with reputable firm.
