Purchasing and Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing and Accounting Manager to join our team at our CNC production shop in Winder GA Location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement. Additionally, the candidate will manage the accounting functions of the shop, including Accounts Receivable/Payable, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
• Oversee inventory management and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.
• Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing, accounting, or a related field.

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Netsuite is a strong plus
• Knowledge of CNC production processes and industry trends is a plus.
