Step into a rewarding opportunity to support elementary students’ communication and language needs in a dynamic school environment. This contract position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience. Provide vital coverage for an SLP on FMLA leave from August 10 through the end of October and help shape successful learning outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Indiana SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong organizational skills, especially managing larger caseloads
• Comfort working with or overseeing Speech-Language Assistants (SLA)
• Familiarity with IEP development and compliance
• Open to both in-person and VOCO (virtual) therapy candidates

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to an assigned caseload of approximately 117 students across two elementary buildings
• Collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Assistant to ensure continuity and quality of services
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain thorough documentation
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding students’ progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support compliance with federal/state regulations
