Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team in the operating room across a variety of surgical specialties, with emphasis on ENT and neurosurgery
• Perform scrub duties and maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Participate in a 4–6 late/call requirement per 6-week schedule block, including late shifts, overnight call (11p–7a), and weekend call coverage
• Rotate weekend shifts on an alphabetical basis; assigned weekend shift may be days or nights
• Cover one major and two minor holidays per contract (day or night shift)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of operating room (OR) experience required
• Strong proficiency in ENT and neurosurgery cases
• Active Surgical Technician certification or applicable credentialing
• Ability to fulfill call, late shift, and weekend rotation requirements as outlined by the department
• No set or blocked schedules — must maintain scheduling flexibility
• Only 1 week of vacation time will be considered within a single contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties beyond ENT and neuro
• Familiarity with fast-paced, high-volume acute care surgical environments
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules including nights and weekends
