Overnight Veterinary Triage Assistant

Overnight Triage Assistants are a key team member in day-to-day operations of the hospital. Overnight Triage Technicians Are Responsible For Obtaining patient history Assisting during emergency/critical care situations Recording notes and vitals Smartflow Assisting the doctor-on-duty during the physical exam Aiding in animal restraint Collecting specimens for lab testing Running lab tests as directed by doctor-on-duty Invoicing patient procedures and appointments (out-patient) Cleaning exam rooms following every exam Benefits Health Insurance / Dental and Vision Paid time off Simple IRA Retirement with matching Opportunity for advancements Opportunity for Bonuses Company scrubs Three free annual wellness visits and % off discount on servicesQualifications: The ideal candidate for this role will have a flexible schedule, preferably have industry related experience (at least 1 year), and will have a minimum of a high school diploma. The ideal candidate for this role will have availability for 8pm -8am shifts, 3 days a week. However, being open 24/7, we have several varying shift times. Skills Required Basic Animal Restraint Excellent written and communication skills Ability to learn quickly in a high-volume and fast-paced environment Experience within veterinary industry or similar field Schedule Requirements Full time or part time positions available.
