Your responsibilities will include:Serving as the main technical contact for assigned hardware deliverables throughout development and production.Providing technical leadership to subsystem suppliers, ensuring requirements flow down and hardware meets all specifications.Owning hardware disposition through Material Review Board Engineer (MRBE) processes.Leading yield investigations, failure‑review boards, and root‑cause analyses, and driving corrective‑action implementation.Creating and iterating electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, and interconnect designs.Performing electrical testing, firmware/FPGA verification, and electromechanical packaging reviews.Leading weekly supplier meetings and communicating clear status updates to program leadership, Lockheed Martin, and government customers.Producing concise technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, test reports, and verification records.Assisting with technical proposals and risk assessments for new initiatives.Mentoring junior engineers and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team environment.Why Join UsDo you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? Basic QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university; Master's degree preferredMinimum 3 years of professional experience with electrical hardware design or a related disciplineExperience in electrical hardware design for development and/or production phases in aerospace or a similar industryAbility to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA)Experience troubleshooting hardware like CCAs, harnesses, etc.Strong hands-on skills with electrical/electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, DMMs, automated test equipment)Proven background providing production line support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actionsMust be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearanceDesired SkillsExperience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance processDemonstrated effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExperience with schematic capture and circuit simulation toolsExperience working technical proposalsExperience with signal integrity design tools such as HyperlynxExperience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principlesExperience with Windchill or Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) toolsExperience working failure investigation, root cause, and corrective actionExperience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigationExperience dispositioning and/or troubleshooting non-conforming hardware (Failure Review Board and Material Review Board)Candidate able to obtain MRBE status with appropriate training/mentoringKnowledge of or experience in obsolescence managementActive DoD Secret or Top Secret clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
