Our team is responsible for creation and continuous improvement of special processes and small parts assembly for ultraprecision machined components.What You Will Be DoingAs the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the Machining Operations Center (MOC) within the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) facility located in Orlando, FL. Discover more about our Orlando, Florida location.MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related disciplineBasic understanding of CAD software such as Siemens NX, CREO, Pro Engineer, or SolidworksExperience working in production manufacturing environmentThe candidate must be a US citizenDesired SkillsWorking knowledge and experience using MES, PLM, and ERP systemsExperience with small parts assembly operation including precision pin installation, rivet install, helicoils, etc.Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skillsExperience utilizing CREO or NX for CADExperience working with MIL-SPEC and industry standard special processes (chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, plating, heat treatment, etc.)Experience with paint application and masking processes for components and assemblies (metallic and composite)Knowledge of precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipmentExperience with implementing automation manuacturing solutionsExperience with 3D PrintingExperience with chemistry, including execution of titrations, pH analysis, large volume plating line evaluation and troubleshootingFamiliarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specificationsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
