Speech Language Pathologist

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district in Bakersfield, California to staff a full time, Speech Language Pathologist. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide speech and language services to students within a school setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct support to students individually and in small groups Assist with speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language interventions. Document student performance and progress during therapy sessions. Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and equipment. Maintain accurate and timely service logs and records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Support classroom carryover of communication strategies as directed by the supervising SLP. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers. Assist with screening activities and data collection as permitted by state regulations. Qualifications ASHA Certified Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred. Knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
