About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the growth strategy for its media brand and consumer app. The successful candidate will be responsible for brand and audience growth, app go-to-market and user acquisition, and monetization and revenue marketing. This role involves owning and evolving the brand voice, positioning, and visual identity, as well as developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for the consumer app. The Head of Marketing will also be tasked with building and managing marketing systems, funnels, and audience strategies to turn a highly engaged following into a thriving consumer business. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a marketing leadership role, with a proven track record in driving user acquisition and retention for a consumer app or digital product. Experience in startup or early-stage environments is essential, as is deep fluency in performance marketing, full-funnel strategy, and digital channel management. The ideal candidate will have strong content and brand instincts, be motivated by purpose, and have experience marketing to women, families, or values-driven audiences. Responsibilities also include designing and optimizing sales funnels, building email and lifecycle marketing programs, and identifying partnership opportunities aligned with the brand.
