Manufacturing EngineerThe Manufacturing Engineer supports new product launches, improves manufacturing processes, resolves quality issues, and drives continuous improvement to ensure efficient, high-quality production.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport new product introductions from design through production.Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, BOMs, and documentation.Troubleshoot production, assembly, and quality issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.Analyze production and quality data to improve efficiency, yield, and reliability.Manage ECOs and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.Collaborate with customers, suppliers, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues and improve performance.Design and implement tooling, equipment, and packaging solutions.Support audits, compliance initiatives, and supplier quality activities.Manage capital and continuous improvement projects.Review designs for manufacturability and support prototype builds.Train production personnel and provide ongoing technical support.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41.00 - $47.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
