- Serve as primary procurement leader for functional workstreams with responsibility for key performance metrics, including supply base cost project execution, tariff & risk mitigation priorities (tracking of footprint, negotiation and resourcing activities) and senior leadership status reporting.
- Support Global Purchasing VP with PMO priorities, including SteerCo preparation, supply base escalation coordination, data management, presentation assistance and other tasks, as needed.
- Continue key project momentum, including leading delivery of existing pipeline while driving incremental projects into the forecast to deliver material cost improvement.
- Develop short- to long-term plans for key categories and supply strategies. Link strategic plans to the Business Unit vision and growth plan and prioritize efforts to implement strategies.
- Manage resources and resolve conflict over resource allocation and other critical issues across procurement and other functions. Mediate highly complex and often conflicting issues involving multiple groups.
- Responsible for recurring reporting while driving clear next steps to meet business plan deliverables. Manage team and individual accountability to help meet goals.
- Ensure compliance with Global Procurement policies and procedures, including supporting the Global Sourcing Council process and Global Category Teams.
- Lead global aftermarket (AMPS) purchasing, driving continued excellence into this important business segment. Coordination with Direct/Indirect procurement teams required and primary engagement with AMPS leadership.
- New Product Development (NPD) lead for global procurement. Ensure new program milestones and deliverables are met and leveraged across the enterprise for scale and synergy opportunities.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Materials Management or related field is required.
- A Master's Degree in Business or a Technical field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years professional work experience with 5 years purchasing work experience in global manufacturing companies with increasing responsibilities in a multi-site, multi-product, company is required.
- At least 6 years managerial experience.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills expected.
