Requirements NYS Special Education Teacher: certified in Students with Disabilities (Birth-2nd grade) LMSW/LCSW M.S.CCC‑SLP TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech‑Language Disabilities) PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HOLD A LICENSE IN ONE OF THESE AREAS - Initial or Professional license accepted. Responsibilities Providing 1:1 ABA therapy, special instruction, or speech therapy in the child’s natural environment (home and community-based settings). Creating individualized treatment plans based off of the current outcomes and objectives established in the IFSP. Implementing evidence-based strategies and techniques to facilitate learning and development. Collecting data to monitor and track progress of new skills being learned in ABA programs.
