Schedule

Days, Monday to Friday, 5x8's with rotating on-call responsibilities including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

Join our Surgical Team as a Perioperative Registered Nurse, where you will play an essential role in the provision of care to patients before, during, and after surgeries and procedures. You will need to exhibit a high level of attention to detail and a passion for patient safety. This position requires adaptability and quick decision-making in a variety of situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the perioperative setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in pre-op and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) responsibilities.
• Actively support patient safety during surgical procedures and emergencies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Respond effectively in stressful situations with changing circumstances.
• Participate in on-call duties, providing care during emergency cases as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current, unencumbered RN licensure in Utah or compact state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to handle an average of 7-9 days of call per month with a 20-minute response time.
