Your Role What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced lab tests in various departments including chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established procedures.
• Evaluate results for precision, address any discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and process samples for testing as required.
• Keep thorough documentation, mentor new colleagues or trainees, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• It is essential to maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
