Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift

We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supervising multiple work cells and up to 30 team members; work ethically and with integrity, uphold organizational values; demonstrate leadership and show ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company; monitor hour-by-hour production operations and identify any deviations from the process for correction and escalate when appropriateConsistently meet or exceed planned production goals and KPIs on assigned shift; continuously improve productivity and efficiency through effective employee relations, manpower planning, 5S principles, material and parts planning, and timely resolution of production problemsWork closely with employees to ensure they have adequate materials, tools, equipment, and training to perform their job safely, efficiently, and consistently; responsible for new employee training, monitoring, and coachingEnsure the highest quality standards are always followedEnsure compliance with company safety and 5S policy, and environmental regulations at all timesProcess time and attendance, perform and handle disciplinary procedures; prioritize work schedules, delegate work assignments, approve and track time-off requests; coach and complete performance reviews for direct reports;Ensure production tracker boards are updated daily and all ERP functions related to production are performed by end of shiftEnsure the maintenance and maximum utilization of production machinery and equipment is achievedExpedite rush and special ordersComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team membersDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company's policiesMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communicationsMinimum Qualifications:Associates' degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience3+ years supervisory experience or as a team lead in a manufacturing environmentProfessional work experience that demonstrates progressive increase in level of responsibility and scope of dutiesSix Sigma or proficient in Lean / 5SLeadership TrainingMust possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitaskExcellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeProficient in MS Excel, Word, PPTAbility to use an ERP systemExperience with 5 whys / root cause analysisExcellent troubleshooting skillsPreferred Qualifications : Welding, Fabrication, and experience with industrial paint systems, Experience with MRP, BOM and RoutingThe pay range for this position is $60,400.00 - $97,525.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
