Technology Sourcing Manager | Cell Site Backhaul Solutions Sourcing

Job Responsibilities: This position can be located in Frisco, TX or Overland Park, KS Competitively sourcing technology spend through RFP, RFI, and RFQs, with a focus on telecom network infrastructure and backhaul solutions (e.g., fiber, Ethernet, wavelength services) Drafting, negotiating, and executing contractual documents including but not limited to master service agreements, statements of work, letter agreements, and purchase orders for high-volume circuit procurement Supplier management - supporting the evolution of supplier management through supplier scorecard development, performance management, and quarterly business reviews across a large portfolio of regional and national telecom providers Drive sourcing strategies for large-scale, high-volume circuit deployments (1G/10G/100G+), balancing cost, speed to deploy, and network resiliency Intellectual property licensing procurement & structural guidance, where applicable to network technologies Liaise with technical personnel (engineering, transport, and network planning teams) to interpret technical specifications (e.g., route diversity, latency, capacity requirements) into commercial and financial outcomes Summarize and present business cases, supplier strategies, and agreements for executive review and approval Manage supplier escalations related to delivery, performance, and contractual obligations impacting network deployment timelines Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field (Required) 4-7 years – Experience in technology sourcing, telecom/network engineering, or a similar role supporting infrastructure procurement 4-7 years – Experience managing Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules, and associated project materials in a mid to large size company Experience working with telecom carriers, fiber providers, or network infrastructure vendors preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Project Management (Required) Microsoft Office (Required) RFP/RFI Development (Required) Contract Negotiation (Required) Communication (Required) Strategic Sourcing (Required) Knowledge of telecom network infrastructure, including fiber, Ethernet, and wavelength services (Preferred) Ability to manage a high-volume supplier environment (50+ vendors) across multiple geographic markets (Preferred) Understanding of network deployment lifecycle, including site activation timelines and service delivery intervals (Preferred) Financial modeling and cost analysis for large-scale network sourcing decisions (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications: Certified Property Manager (CPM) (Preferred) Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (Preferred) Supply chain or sourcing certifications such as CPSM or CSCP (Preferred) Eligibility: At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Base Pay Range: Base Pay Range: $87,000 - $156,900 Corporate Bonus Target: 15% Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance Flexible spending account 401(k) Employee stock grants Employee stock purchase plan Paid time off and up to 12 paid holidays (approximately 4 weeks for new full‑time employees and approximately 2.5 weeks for new part‑time employees annually) Paid parental and family leave Family building benefits Backup care Enhanced family support Childcare subsidy Tuition assistance, college coaching Short‑ and long‑term disability Voluntary AD&D coverage, voluntary accident coverage, voluntary life insurance, voluntary disability insurance, voluntary long‑term care insurance Mobile service and home internet discounts Pet insurance Access to commuter and transit programs Employment and Equal Opportunity Statement: T‑Mobile USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
