Technical Assistant

Department: Major Accounts Job Summary Responsible for providing support to the AE Service Teams. Handle projects, clerical assignments, administrative and data entry duties as directed. Principal Responsibilities Process Policies, Certificates, Endorsement requests, Correspondence, Filing, Faxes, Copying, Invoicing, and other administrative support as needed for the AE Service Teams. Prepare certificates and Auto ID cards. Enter data and ensure accuracy of data input into Agency Management System (Sagitta). Enter data into Document Management System (WorkSmart). Operate office equipment. Set-up and maintain electronic files that conform to company standards. Resolve routine issues and use sound judgement in referring more complex issues to the Service Team. Create diaries in Sagitta and WorkSmart for account specific workflows and service plans, as directed. Assist with other administrative support duties as needed. Answer, direct and/or handle phone calls, as applicable. Open, sort and distribute mail, as applicable. Other Functions Adhere to Company Policies, Procedures, Processes and Guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Requirements College degree preferred. Previous experience in an insurance or office environment. Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, etc.). Proficiency required on Microsoft products; Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional Organizational and Customer Service Skills. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Self starter, flexible and able to multi-task with minimal supervision. Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship Specialized Knowledge and/or Licenses Property and Casualty Producer License, where required AINS and other specialized designations as appropriate Working Conditions Office environment with moderate noise level; able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong offices as directed. Salary for this position ranges from $26.00 - $30.00. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, and PTO.
