Staff AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support a growing organization during a period of operational transition and system implementation. This role will play a key part in maintaining daily accounting functions, supporting reporting needs, and assisting with month-end close activities.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently.Key Responsibilities for the Staff AccountantPerform cash application and reconciliation, matching transactions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payrollComplete bank reconciliations as part of the month-end close processReview and support accounts payable and invoicing, including allocating expenses across multiple entities or clientsAssist with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timelinessGenerate and maintain ad hoc financial reports using Excel and Google SheetsAnalyze data and ensure accuracy of financial records and reportingDaily Responsibilities for the Staff AccountantReview and manage cash activity within the accounting systemWork through reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesSupport invoice review and expense allocation processesCreate and update tracking documents and reportsCollaborate with accounting leadership on reporting and close activitiesQualifications for the Staff AccountantRequired:Strong experience with QuickBooksProficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google SheetsExperience with cash and bank reconciliationsAccounts Payable experienceSolid understanding of the full accounting cyclePreferred:Experience with NetSuiteExposure to month-end close processes (prepaids, assets, reporting)Experience with ad hoc reporting and financial analysisWork Environment & CultureCollaborative and team-oriented environmentStrong communication culture using digital toolsOpportunity to work closely with accounting leadership
