Senior Accountant

Our client a large privately owned Real Estate Investment company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Property Accounting Team in their Boca Raton office. This position will work on a broad portfolio of assigned commercial properties. Preferred candidate should have at least two years of property accounting experience with a commercial real estate company. We are seeking a candidate that has excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform monthly and quarterly close procedures for assigned properties Prepare and review monthly financial statements for assigned properties Reconcile balance sheet accounts and identify/resolve any discrepancies Oversee Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables for assigned properties Calculate all monthly, quarterly, and annual CAM charges for assigned properties and maintain tenant operating expense billings/accruals in accordance with lease terms Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecast for assigned properties Work on a regular basis with property management and asset management to clearly communicate all financial reporting, property issues, and asset investment issues Establish and maintain co-operative and collaborative relationships with internal and external parties

REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skill Minimum two years of commercial property accounting experience Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail Motivated self‑starter comfortable working in person, or in a hybrid environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Michael Aaron Staffing, LLC
