Overview The Retirement Plan Advisor assists individuals in achieving a successful retirement and planning their financial future through group and individual presentations to new and existing defined contribution Government 457 plan participants. This role uses data‑driven, analytical thinking to lead impactful conversations with participants, meets client service level agreements and achieves annual targets as assigned. Work Environment For remote and hybrid positions, you will be required to provide reliable high‑speed internet with a wired connection and a suitable work environment. You may be required to work in the office if your home setup does not meet these requirements. Responsibilities Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and other individual and group presentations to improve retirement outcomes. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders for each location within the assigned territory or for assigned employer‑sponsored plans. Conduct one‑on‑one virtual and on‑site group meetings using various technologies in a professional manner. Manage the meeting schedule, including travel booking. Create and execute dynamic business plans and tactics to drive positive retirement income objectives for participants. Document interactions in Salesforce and collect required information to adhere to regulatory compliance guidelines. Achieve plan‑level and individual goals to help meet service level agreements and business results. Participate in client meetings, sales finals, or other external meetings as needed. Work collaboratively across internal service and management teams to improve effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. 3–5 years of relevant financial services experience. Strong presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Strategic thinker who can work independently. Strong relationship building and territory management skills. FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 registrations required within the established timeline; current registrations strongly preferred. FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire. What Will Set You Apart Working knowledge of Salesforce. Working knowledge of building blocks for successful retirement planning. Basic understanding of defined contribution plans. Practical experience providing high‑level, consultative client interactions. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year. Business‑casual environment including the option to wear jeans. Generous paid time off upon hire, a paid time‑off program, and ten paid company holidays plus three floating holidays each calendar year. Paid volunteer time – 16 hours per calendar year. Leave of absence programs – paid parental leave, paid short‑ and long‑term disability, and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA). Business Resource Groups (BRGs) facilitating inclusion and collaboration across the business. Compensation Base salary range: $79,400.00 – $112,175.00. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program; sales positions are eligible for sales incentives and, in some instances, a bonus plan that may result in total compensation exceeding base salary depending on individual performance. The Retirement Plan Advisor must be based in Orange County and be available to meet with individuals in person.
