Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedics for a 13-week travel assignment in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative orthopedic care
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery and treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• License: Active RN (NC or compact)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Ortho RN
• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred)
• Charting: Epic (required)
• Skills: Ortho/trauma experience, telemetry, IV therapy, wound care, safe patient handling
