Volt is immediately hiring for a Direct Hire opportunity for a  Director of Internal Audit (restaurant industry is a must) in Dallas, TX.

As a Director of Internal Audit you will: 

• Direct and oversee the Internal Audit function for the U.S. organization.
• Design and implement a comprehensive annual audit program based on business risks and strategic priorities.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks.
• Identify and evaluate operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks across the organization.
• Lead audits from planning through execution, reporting, and follow-up activities.
• Communicate audit results, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations to senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology, and other business units to strengthen processes and controls.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Internal Audit team members while optimizing resource allocation.
• Support executive committees and strategic business transformation initiatives.
• Champion audit best practices and incorporate emerging industry trends into audit methodologies.
• Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Process Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading Internal Audit programs and managing audit teams.
• Strong background in risk assessment, internal controls, and enterprise risk management.
• Experience developing and executing risk-based audit plans.
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to present complex audit findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional-level English language proficiency.

• MBA or other advanced business degree.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
• Experience within the restaurant, food service, hospitality, or QSR industry mandatory
• Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting large-scale organizational change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.

Salary: $158,000 - $200,000 per year. 

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
