Restaurant Manager

PRE-GAME We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to partner with the management team as a defensive coach, overseeing all team members and ensuring our team has the tools and resources to succeed. Your primary focus will be managing the daily operations of the restaurant and executing strategies with the management team to maximize team spirit, revenue, profit, and service standards. GAME DAY Responsibilities include recruiting, selection, orientation, scheduling, and performance management. Maintain adequate staffing levels within your core area. Coach team members to be welcoming and professional to customers. Build and develop a team capable of achieving established goals. Provide ongoing performance feedback and recognition. Partner with the GM to ensure adherence to all training programs, including hourly, shift leadership, certified training, and alcohol awareness. Communicate any team member, service, or quality issues to the management team. Understand and help meet financial goals set by the GM. Execute administrative tasks, including cash handling and bank deposits. Plan and order inventory items such as food, beverages, and supplies. Comply with company policies and procedures, and communicate them to team members. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance. Ensure overall food quality, safety, security, and cleanliness. Perform other duties as assigned. RULES OF PLAY Must have 5+ years of recent restaurant experience, with at least 2 in a leadership role. Be a team player willing to assist your team. Show passion and commitment, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Possess knowledge of labor laws, health codes, food safety, responsible alcohol service, security systems, and computer operations. Be focused on training and developing your team. Have strong time management and organizational skills. Possess mathematical abilities to understand financial reports. Be willing to learn or already know POS systems. Have excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work standing for extended periods.
