Business Development Executive

Business Development Manager iHeartMedia is the largest podcast publisher and the leading audio company in America. What You’ll Do Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams. Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with company objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and market research. Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support customer acquisition and retention. Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities. Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing models, and business cases. Meet or exceed revenue, profitability, and growth targets. Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and reporting metrics. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA often preferred). 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or strategic partnerships. Proven track record of achieving revenue and growth goals. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Experience managing complex client relationships and enterprise sales cycles. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot. Ability to work cross‑functionally and independently in fast‑paced environments. Respect for others and a strong belief that others should act similarly. Accountability for own work and desire to guide new team members. Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously under moderate direction. Application of objective judgment, technical skills, and prior experience to solve business problems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a knack for explaining complex information clearly. Desire for continued knowledge sharing and learning. Understanding of the impact of own decisions. Compensation Salary will be determined by multiple factors including relevant experience, skills, and market data.
