Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and frequency of their mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and techniques.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and clinical needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring that best practices are consistently applied.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate a holistic approach to client health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. We also extend our services to marginalized populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, and those overcoming addiction challenges. As an LMFT, you will play a vital role in providing them with the support they need to navigate their circumstances and improve their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
