Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation to deliver patient-centered care. Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor for side effects, and document care activities. Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care team members to optimize patient management. Meet competency standards, participate in orientation and residency programs, and complete annual skill validations. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; RN license in the relevant state or with a compact license required. At least one year of relevant nursing experience preferred. Current BLS and PALS certifications required; additional certifications may be required based on specialty. Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
