Tryfacta is seeking a Medical Assistant for our client in San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. This is an 8-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA 93405

Duration: 8 weeks

Work Schedule: 8x5 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs We have openings in other cities too - Simi Valley, Templeton, Arroyo Grande, St. Helena – CA. Local and traveler candidates accepted. Auto offer

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient examinations.
• Check in patients, obtain and document vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and basic clinical procedures.
• Conduct audiometry and vision screenings (if qualified).
• Maintain patient records, referrals, and continuity of care documentation.
• Report patient observations and changes to the provider.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Minimum 6–12 months of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current EPIC experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred (or equivalent experience, as accepted by the facility).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
