Talent Acquisition Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Student Employee to join our team. This intern will participate in multiple stages of the recruitment process, gaining corporate experience, and building connections across the organization. Ideally, the selected candidate will work 20 hours per week during the fall semester and spring semester. This hybrid internship requires candidates to be located in Pittsburgh, PA .


Responsibilities:

• Partner with local universities to support hiring of interns and full-time college graduates
• Enhance candidate and new hire experiences by updating job descriptions and posting to relevant job boards
• Consult and collaborate with HR, leaders, and hiring managers throughout the selection process
• Manage internal recruiting roles as needed
• Work with the Talent Acquisition Analyst to implement process improvements and best practices
• Maintain compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and Company requirements
• Support efforts to build an inclusive and diverse workforce
• Stay current on talent acquisition trends

Minimum Qualifications:

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in human resources or a related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process is a plus
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, and organizational needs
• Strong consultative skills and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including influencing and motivating others
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must be a current student who has completed sophomore year by June 2026 and is in good academic standing
