TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Must-Have: - High risk antepartum experience - Labor and delivery experience - C-section experience - Experience with magnesium drips Description: This position is in a High-Risk OB unit with a capacity of 25 beds. Patient ratios may vary from 1:1 to 6:1. Each shift includes a charge nurse/CNC and a unit secretary when staffing allows. Familiarity with the documentation system is required. Staff may float to other related units as needed. Candidates must possess skills to circulate c-sections. Labor and delivery experience is essential. Experience with magnesium drips is required. Previous gyn experience is necessary. Advanced skills such as ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are mandatory. Procedures performed on the unit include c-sections, bereavement care, and vaginal deliveries. Required attire includes navy blue, seal blue, and grey scrubs. Please ensure you are familiar with unit-specific policies and guidelines. The department values new equipment and technology. The tenure and experience of the staff contribute to a supportive work environment. Schedule options are available for staff.
