Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Days Location: unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, handling a variety of cardiac-related conditions such as MI, CHF, arrhythmias, and PVD. The role requires independent practice and the ability to manage complex clinical situations with a focus on patient safety and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty; BLS certification from AHA required; ACLS certification from AHA required; RN License in state of employment or compact; All new experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and must complete organizational competency validations, including Med Surg-specific competencies. All annual competency verification requirements must be completed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac telemetry or related specialty
• Float: Float rotation required; staff must float when needed
• Responsibilities: Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation; administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects; document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided; assess learning needs; educate patients, families, and caregivers; make appropriate clinical assignments and delegation.
