Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse - Days Shift in a healthcare setting providing specialized cardiac and medical-surgical care for patients with conditions such as myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease. The role involves managing multiple cardiac drips, monitoring patient health status, and providing routine and complex nursing care with an emphasis on safety and patient education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week with 48-hour guarantees available.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or a valid compact license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA required; minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac drips and management is advantageous.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to practice independently and demonstrate clinical proficiency. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients; administering medications and treatments following established protocols; documenting patient care accurately; providing patient and family education; and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery. Candidates must be capable of handling contingencies and managing complex clinical situations efficiently.
