Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Rotation | Some Holidays | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• CVICU experience required
• Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; strict criteria apply for identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks; two attempts allowed)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care area
