Controls Technician / Service Technician

Location: Crossings, FL 33186
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $42,000 – $62,000 per year (Based on Experience)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Controls Technician / Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Alarm Systems , or individuals with a strong technical background who are eager to learn. Responsibilities

• Program, commission, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Install, maintain, and service HVAC control systems and DDC controllers.
• Diagnose and repair BAS, HVAC, lighting, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Perform system testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, control drawings, and technical documents.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while working at client sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical/trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in BAS, HVAC, Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, DDC controls, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a specialized industry.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
• Full-Time
• Occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency service as needed.
• Travel to customer sites required.
