Estimator - Nashville, TN

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its preconstruction team. This role plays a critical part in setting projects up for success by developing accurate, competitive cost estimates and supporting projects from early budgeting through final proposal. Description Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and quantity take‑offs for commercial construction projects Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to determine full project requirements Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing Develop conceptual, schematic, and design‑development estimates Support value engineering and constructability reviews during preconstruction Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to execution Maintain organized documentation to support pricing assumptions and historical cost data Profile Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction Strong understanding of cost management, budgeting, and construction means and methods Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar is a plus Job Offer Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000, dependent on experience Competitive benefits package Opportunity to join a stable, reputable contractor with a strong project pipeline Long‑term career growth within a collaborative, employee‑focused organization Exposure to a diverse range of technically interesting and meaningful projects MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
