Sample Processing Specialist

Job Details Job ID: 63721 Job Category: Life, Physical and Social Science Position Type: Contract Duration: 3 Months Shift: 1 Remaining Positions: 1 Job Title Sample Processing Specialist Location 26 Davis Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 (100% onsite) Total Regular Hours 45 per week Hours Start Time: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Lunch Time: 30 Minutes Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday working 9 hours per day and a half day on Friday (4 hours) Qualifications Zero tolerance policy is strictly enforced. Minimum HS Diploma or GED but a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is preferred. 1-2 years' experience in a production type environment is required. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently and maintain production quality and quantity. Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and good lab practices. Ability to adhere to all safe work practices and wear appropriate PPE. Responsibilities Preparation of agriculture research samples. Inventory and order management support. Picking, packing, and shipping of agriculture samples. Record keeping and documentation per department guidelines. Support activities related to sample logistics.
