Program Director

Title: Behavioral Program Director Status: Full-Time Reports To: Director of Nursing (or Program Administrator) Pay Range: $95k-$120k THE ROLE You will lead with both heart and discipline. That means overseeing the Behavioral Health Program with compassion and clinical excellence, staying ahead of regulatory requirements, and creating a culture where staff feel supported and residents thrive. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE FACILITY THE FOUNDATION Bachelor's Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field . Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is strongly preferred. No active probation or substantiated violations on any professional license or employment record. THE JOURNEY Minimum 3+ years of direct experience working with the mentally ill, preferably with severely mentally disordered patients. Minimum 2+ years of experience in program supervision and staff management . Proven track record of developing and evaluating therapeutic programs that meet regulatory requirements. Experience with treatment planning, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in a healthcare or behavioral health setting. THE CRAFT Deep fluency in applicable state regulations (including Title 22, where applicable) and federal behavioral health requirements. Ability to lead the planning, development, and evaluation of therapeutic programs that meet each resident's unique needs. Strong skills in monitoring service quality and coordinating with other departments for effective program delivery. Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) or other electronic medical record systems is strongly preferred. Ability to facilitate Behavioral Team meetings and ensure accurate documentation of residents' progress. THE CHARACTER Passion for cultivating a family culture and person‑centered care. Lead the planning, development, and evaluation of therapeutic programs that meet the needs of each resident. Ensure all programs are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure key performance indicators are met. Provide ongoing monitoring of service quality and coordinate with other departments for effective program delivery. Facilitate Behavioral Team meetings and supervise program staff.Ensure accurate documentation of residents' progress in the program. Support staff professional development and growth opportunities.
