Provide care where it’s needed most through as a Registered Nurse – ESS Float.Our Float Flex Team must:Work Shift to Shift across Rochester Regional Health facilitiesWork at least 144 hours every calendar quarterWork four (4) 12-hour weekend shifts per calendar quarterWork one (1) major holiday OR four (4) minor holidaysBe assigned to facility 12 hours before the shift startBe assigned to the unit 2 hours before the shift startSTATUS: As assignedLOCATION: All locationsDEPARTMENT: Flex TeamSCHEDULE: VariesATTRIBUTES2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.NYS Registered Nurse License required.Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.Experience in medical, surgical, critical care, and/or emergency patient care preferred.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Certification preferred.RESPONSIBILITIESPatient Satisfaction. Solicit and respond to patient feedback to improve service and processes that will enhance the patient experience.Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal.Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent and complete patient care documentation using computerized medical record processEDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee’s physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.PAY RANGE:$55.00 - $75.00CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14617The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
