Account Manager: DFW Market

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking an organized, relationship-driven Account Manager to support our expansion into the DFW market. This position will be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with assigned customers, serving as a primary point of contact, and coordinating internally to ensure customer expectations and commitments are met. The Account Manager will work closely with customers, project management, estimating, operations, field teams, and leadership to maintain strong communication throughout the lifecycle of each account and its associated projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Account Management & Customer Relationships Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers and key accounts. Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and programs. Develop a strong understanding of each customer's business, expectations, project requirements, and ongoing needs. Maintain regular communication with customers to strengthen relationships and ensure a high level of service. Conduct regular customer follow-ups and account reviews. Identify customer needs and opportunities to provide additional support or services. Build relationships with key customer contacts, including property managers, general contractors, facilities teams, and other stakeholders. Customer Communication & Coordination Coordinate with estimating, operations, project management, field teams, and leadership to ensure customer commitments are understood and met. Maintain visibility into active projects associated with assigned accounts. Communicate project updates, scheduling information, issues, changes, and other relevant information to customers. Ensure customer questions and requests are directed to the appropriate internal team and followed through to resolution. Assist with resolving customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Help maintain consistent communication between customers and internal DVP teams. Participate in customer meetings, project discussions, site visits, and account meetings as needed. Account Growth & Retention Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support long-term account retention. Understand customers' current and future construction and maintenance needs. Identify opportunities within existing accounts for additional projects and services. Communicate potential opportunities to the appropriate estimating, operations, or leadership teams. Support leadership in strengthening and expanding key national accounts. Maintain regular contact with customers following project completion to support future opportunities and continued relationships. Account Organization & Documentation Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, projects, opportunities, proposals, commitments, and follow-up activities. Track outstanding customer requests, action items, and follow-ups to ensure timely completion. Maintain organized account information and ensure relevant internal teams have access to current customer requirements and expectations.
