Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Mild/Moderate or Cross-Categorical teaching licensure
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in resource programs, is highly valued
• Ability to manage a caseload of 20-25 students, collaborating with staff and families to promote student growth
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Dedication to inclusive practices and a flexible approach to meet diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 20-25 students
• Provide specialized instruction and resource support in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and facilitate classroom inclusion
• Monitor and document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain all required records
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to encourage student achievement
