Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff, and processes to ensure efficient daily functioning and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees to maintain proper staffing levels and performance standards. Lead store opening and closing procedures, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Analyze operating statements to identify sales trends, control expenses, and prevent shrinkage. Manage inventory through accurate ordering, stocking, and cycle counts to meet in-stock targets. Ensure merchandise presentation aligns with company standards, including signage and pricing. Maintain accurate cash handling, cashier accountability, and store security practices. Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a clean, safe shopping environment. Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and complete all required documentation. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret safety and operational documents and perform basic math calculations. Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, and merchandising practices. Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Experience in retail management and compliance with legal hiring practices preferred. Bilingual skills may be advantageous. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds. Occasional outdoor exposure and driving for store-related tasks.
