Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Texas SLP license (via Texas Dept. of Licensing and Regulation)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (ASHA certified; clock hours required)
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, especially Accent with eye gaze feature
• Adept at programming, calibrating, and maintaining AAC technology
• Recent references and documentation as per state and district requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person direct and indirect speech therapy and AT support for a high school student (2 hours per week)
• Collaborate with the student’s educational team for optimal integration of AAC
• Conduct device setup, programming, calibration, and ongoing support
• Deliver precise documentation and contribute to educational planning
