Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support professional for a direct hire opportunity in San Juan, PR within the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals industry. This role is ideal for an early-career technology professional with strong troubleshooting skills, a service-focused mindset, and an interest in supporting hardware, software, user systems, and technical operations.

The IT Support role provides hands-on and remote support to internal and external users, helping ensure technology systems operate reliably and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to build technical experience in a professional, team-oriented environment where accuracy, communication, and follow-through are valued. You will collaborate with clients, programmers, and technical teams while gaining exposure to system interfaces, service documentation, software configuration, and customer support best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and information systems for internal and external customers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose software malfunctions, and determine whether support should be handled remotely or on-site.
- Install and update software and hardware, configure user accounts and passwords, and support system access needs.
- Perform system interface installations and conduct testing to confirm proper data exchange between analyzers and information systems.
- Manage service tickets, document completed and pending tasks, and maintain accurate service records.
- Prepare user manuals, technical procedures, and support documentation while coordinating with clients and technical teams to resolve issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $15.75 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
