Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher licensure, with endorsement in Low Incidence for grades 6–12
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with significant needs
• Ability to create individualized education plans and adapt teaching strategies
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom culture
• Onsite presence preferred to ensure robust engagement, with 37.5 hours per week commitment

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instruction for students with low incidence disabilities
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
• Adapt curriculum and collaborate with general education teachers to modify instruction
• Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and service providers
