Bookkeeper / Staff Accountant / Accounting AssistantA growing, established $10M company is seeking a seasoned accounting professional who can be degreed or non-degreed and brings strong hands-on accounting experience.This role will handle general ledger accounting, month-end close, debits and credits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other day-to-day accounting responsibilities using QuickBooks.The company is interviewing immediately and is looking to hire as soon as possible.This is a fully in-office position in the Smyrna, Georgia 30080 area, ideally for candidates located within approximately 10 miles.This is an opportunity to join a stable and growing organization in a key accounting support role with excellent benefits.This is a collaborative, professional, in-office environment where the accounting team works closely with the broader organization.Approximately $60,000 annually, plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, or Accounting Assistant with a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and the ability to manage day-to-day transactional accounting as well as assist with month-end close. The ideal candidate understands how transactions flow through the general ledger, is comfortable with debits and credits, and has hands-on experience with QuickBooks.A college degree in accounting or finance is welcomed but not required.
